Cortland Reilly is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at ProCare, Inc., which has been providing injured workers with reliable transportation and language services since 2007. With over three decades of experience and involvement with start-up businesses in the health care industry, Mr. Reilly has been the driving force behind ProCare becoming one of the most respected and largest privately-held Transportation and Language Services provider.
Prior to founding ProCare, Mr. Reilly was employed at TechHealth, Inc. for eight years as the Chief Operating Officer and was greatly involved in the formation of the company. Mr. Reilly was also involved with starting Protocare, a home infusion therapy company where his responsibilities included new market development and facility build outs nationally encompassing clean rooms, as well as, distribution capabilities.
Mr. Reilly also worked at Health Answers, a leading health web portal with the responsibility of phase I through IV pharmaceutical product development. In addition, he played an integral part in the development and management of www.CenterForPharmacy.com, an educational pharmaceutical website.
Mr. Reilly currently serves on the board of Quantum Immunologics, a biotechnology company focused on curing breast cancer by utilizing the body’s own immune system and Square 1 Burgers & Bar, a growing restaurant that just celebrated the opening of its 8th location across Central Florida.
Mr. Reilly received his Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Finance and his Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of South Florida. Mr. Reilly resides in Tampa with his wife and two sons and enjoys outrigger canoeing.
Jose Baldomero is the President at ProCare, Inc. Mr. Baldomero began his tenure at ProCare as the Senior Vice President in 2014 and brings with him over 20 years of operational leadership experience. More than half of Mr. Baldomero’s career has been spent in the healthcare industry; primarily focused in the Home Health arena. Prior to his employment at ProCare, Mr. Baldomero was the VP of Specialty Services for Healthcare Solutions where he was responsible for the oversight of Durable Medical Equipment, Imaging, PT, Transportation/Translation, Modifications, Dental and the retrospective 360 programs.
Mr. Baldomero has a proven track record of driving efficiencies and automation within operations. While employed at Healthcare Solutions, he put his skills to work assisting with the integration of the only front-end solution in the industry for Transportation and Translation. This, along with other projects improved Healthcare Solutions productivity and efficiency by over 30%. At ProCare, Mr. Baldomero has taken his focus on quality and streamlining to help improve this client centric organization. In addition, he has been an integral part of creating a culture at ProCare that, not only leverages employee’s strengths, but helps to develop them into great leaders.
Mr. Baldomero received his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of South Florida and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Baldomero lives in the Tampa area with his wife and four children. He enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and experiencing new cuisine; however, he receives the most enjoyment from witnessing the growth of his children and experiencing life through their eyes. In his spare time, Mr. Baldomero can be found volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Make a Wish Foundation.
Lisa Colvin is the Vice President of Human Resources at ProCare, Inc. She began working at ProCare in 2011. Ms. Colvin has gained extensive experience in the Human Resources profession for nearly two decades. As ProCare’s Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Colvin is in the unique position of directly affecting every person and department within the organization. She is passionate about ensuring the safety, growth, development and positive corporate culture for every ProCare department and team member.
Prior to ProCare, Ms. Colvin worked for various corporations, honing her skills in relationship building, both personally and professionally. In her current role, Ms. Colvin strives to be accessible, approachable and knowledgeable regarding HR issues and serves as a valuable resource that can be trusted to advise and assist in all matters related to the organization and team members.
Ms. Colvin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of South Florida. She is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Human Relations program Skills for Success and has served as a Dale Carnegie Graduate Coach.
Raised in New England, Ms. Colvin relocated to the Tampa Bay area as a teenager when her parents retired. She is very active in her church and volunteers her time providing hot meals to the Bay area’s homeless and hungry. Ms. Colvin also sponsors a child in Barabanki, India through an organization called World Vision.
James Kenney is the Senior Vice President of Sales at ProCare, Inc. He began his tenure in July 2016 and brings almost three decades of experience in the workers’ compensation industry, starting at Liberty Mutual in 1987. Mr. Kenney is responsible for the oversight of the entire sales department, including multiple Sales Representatives located throughout the United States. In his role, he is responsible for developing plans and strategies that create a sales culture of success that leads to ongoing business goal achievement. In addition, Mr. Kenney is responsible for the development of National Account relations and new market penetration, to better serve our customers.
Prior to his employment at ProCare, Mr. Kenney worked in senior level roles at MedAllocators and ExamWorks Clinical Solutions, as well as director of National Accounts at Coventry Health Care. His experience in the workers’ compensation industry has been beneficial in helping to develop infrastructure and systems that support the overall success of the sales team.
Mr. Kenney attended North Adams State College and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He currently resides in Medway, MA and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, Mr. Kenney is involved with multiple charities including the DANA Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research.
Stephanie Franklin is the Provider Relations Manager for ProCare Transportation and Language Services. She oversees the development and management of a diverse and robust network of transportation providers and interpreters who provide services on behalf of ProCare for worker’s compensation claimants.
She began working for ProCare in September 2009, and since then, has contributed to tripling the size of ProCare’s provider network.
A native of Florida, Ms. Franklin attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, majoring in Communications with a minor in Journalism. Prior to working for ProCare, Ms. Franklin was an Associate Managing Editor for a community-based weekly newspaper company with editions spanning 19 communities along the east coast of Florida.
In addition to managing ProCare’s Provider Relations Team, Ms. Franklin also works as a freelance editor. When she’s not dotting an independent author’s “i’s” and crossing their “t’s,” Ms. Franklin enjoys reading, writing poetry, watching foreign films and kung fu movies, attending music and cultural festivals, and going to the beach.
She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and active in both her local church, New Bethel Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa, as well as her hometown church, New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce.
Dana Petersen is the Operations Manager at ProCare, Inc and brings over six years of experience in the Transportation and Language Services industry. Ms. Petersen began her career at ProCare in 2010 and has served the majority of her tenure in a leadership capacity. Prior to becoming the Operations Manager, she held the position of Operations Supervisor.
Prior to her employment at ProCare, Ms. Petersen worked as a Sales Representative in the Insurance industry. Her first-hand knowledge of the Insurance industry has been beneficial in helping to identify resources that allow call center staff to fully embrace and work towards fulfilling ProCare’s vision and mission. In her role as Operations Manager, Ms. Petersen will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the call center staff, tracking and measuring staff performance and ensuring that all departmental goals are clearly defined and achieved.
Ms. Petersen is in a unique position of directly impacting the performance and development of call center associates and the quality of customer service. It is her goal to provide all staff with training that will, not only help develop them into strong, capable leaders, but will set them on a course for success that will last a lifetime.
Ms. Petersen earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She was born in Texas and raised in Venezuela. She moved to the Tampa area at 17 and decided to make this area her home. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her friends, family and animals. She passionately supports the ASPCA and shares a forever home with her partner of 11 years, their four dogs and a hedgehog.
Veronique Roman is the Special Projects Manager at ProCare, Inc. Ms. Roman has been involved with ProCare since its inception in 2007 and contributes over two decades of experience in the workers’ compensation industry. Ms. Roman is a Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and is responsible for overseeing Process and IT Implementation and Development, as well as, Quality Improvement.
Prior to her employment at ProCare, Ms. Roman worked with various Workers ’ Compensation based companies. Ms. Roman is known for her inquisitiveness, focus, resolve and desire to know how things work. Her enthusiasm for learning and improving systems is just one of the reasons she excels in her position at ProCare, where she is responsible for the development of processes that allows customer service reps to focus on delivering quality customer service.
Raised in a military family, Ms. Roman became fond of traveling and seeing new places. Prior to moving to Florida, she spent the majority of her childhood in Germany. Ms. Roman is an avid reader and loves animals. She is passionate about supporting the ASPCA and other charitable organizations that focus on helping animals in need.
Kristie Miller is the Manager of Training and Development at ProCare, Inc. She began working at ProCare in 2010 and brings over 15 years of industry experience to her position. Ms. Miller is responsible for the design and development of training curriculums and professional skills enhancements that provide customer service staff with confidence upon graduation and continued growth opportunities.
Prior to working at ProCare, Ms. Miller held positions at TechHealth, Captial One and Progressive Auto Insurance. Ms. Miller earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and has a proven track record of developing and implementing intensive training materials and program structures that stimulate class participation and are designed to enhance the overall learning experience.
Ms. Miller is from the Tampa area and is an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. She enjoys tending to her garden, traveling and exploring different cultures. She frequently attends outdoor festivals/fairs and enjoys the symphony and community theater. For three years, Ms. Miller served as a member of the Mostly Pops Orchestra as a Violinist and taught private instruction for both Violin and Viola.
Ms. Miller is devoted to helping the less fortunate through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Girls and Boys Club. She is an animal lover and has been instrumental in rehabilitating green iguanas for the past 20 years.
Jay Salmon is the Controller at ProCare, Inc. Mr. Salmon began his career at ProCare in 2015 and contributes over two decades of experience in the financial industry. In his current role, Mr. Salmon is responsible for managing all aspects of accounting/financial operations, including the timely and accurate production of internal and external financial reports, managing cash flow while minimizing debt and ensuring that the agency is in compliance with GAAP accounting principles and standards.
Mr. Salmon is passionate about finding ways to help organizations grow financially while being fiscally responsible. Prior to his employment at ProCare, Mr. Salmon worked at TechHealth, Inc for 13 years as a Controller where he was an integral part of increasing revenue by $98 Million and reducing expenses by encouraging the organization to embrace paperless processing.
Mr. Salmon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University. He is an active member of Finance Plus, Accounting and Finance Professionals (AAFP), Accounting and Audit and Financial Systems News for CFO’s, FD and Controllers.
Originally from Connecticut, Mr. Salmon relocated to the Tampa area to escape the cold weather. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and attending concerts and shows. Mr. Salmon is passionate about helping causes that are devoted to finding cures for sick children and is an avid supporter of St. Jude Chidren’s Research Hospital.
