Cortland Reilly is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at ProCare, Inc., which has been providing injured workers with reliable transportation and language services since 2007. With over three decades of experience and involvement with start-up businesses in the health care industry, Mr. Reilly has been the driving force behind ProCare becoming one of the most respected and largest privately-held Transportation and Language Services provider.
Prior to founding ProCare, Mr. Reilly was employed at TechHealth, Inc. for eight years as the Chief Operating Officer and was greatly involved in the formation of the company. Mr. Reilly was also involved with starting Protocare, a home infusion therapy company where his responsibilities included new market development and facility build outs nationally encompassing clean rooms, as well as, distribution capabilities.
Mr. Reilly also worked at Health Answers, a leading health web portal with the responsibility of phase I through IV pharmaceutical product development. In addition, he played an integral part in the development and management of www.CenterForPharmacy.com, an educational pharmaceutical website.
Mr. Reilly currently serves on the board of Quantum Immunologics, a biotechnology company focused on curing breast cancer by utilizing the body’s own immune system and Square 1 Burgers & Bar, a growing restaurant that just celebrated the opening of its 8th location across Central Florida.
Mr. Reilly received his Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Finance and his Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of South Florida. Mr. Reilly resides in Tampa with his wife and two sons and enjoys outrigger canoeing.
Jose Baldomero is the President at ProCare, Inc. Mr. Baldomero began his tenure at ProCare as the Senior Vice President in 2014 and brings with him over 20 years of operational leadership experience. More than half of Mr. Baldomero’s career has been spent in the healthcare industry; primarily focused in the Home Health arena. Prior to his employment at ProCare, Mr. Baldomero was the VP of Specialty Services for Healthcare Solutions where he was responsible for the oversight of Durable Medical Equipment, Imaging, PT, Transportation/Translation, Modifications, Dental and the retrospective 360 programs.
Mr. Baldomero has a proven track record of driving efficiencies and automation within operations. While employed at Healthcare Solutions, he put his skills to work assisting with the integration of the only front-end solution in the industry for Transportation and Translation. This, along with other projects improved Healthcare Solutions productivity and efficiency by over 30%. At ProCare, Mr. Baldomero has taken his focus on quality and streamlining to help improve this client centric organization. In addition, he has been an integral part of creating a culture at ProCare that, not only leverages employee’s strengths, but helps to develop them into great leaders.
Mr. Baldomero received his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of South Florida and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Baldomero lives in the Tampa area with his wife and four children. He enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and experiencing new cuisine; however, he receives the most enjoyment from witnessing the growth of his children and experiencing life through their eyes. In his spare time, Mr. Baldomero can be found volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Make a Wish Foundation.
Jose Ramirez is the Vice President of Account Management at ProCare. Mr. Ramirez began his tenure at ProCare in November, 2020 and brings almost two decades of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry. He is a forward-thinking thought leader who is responsible for establishing strong client relationships with a focus on customer retention. Elevating opportunities and creating solutions with the best interest of all parties is Mr. Ramirez’s passion and his goal is to handle complex change management while working across multiple lines of business in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Prior to working at ProCare, Mr. Ramirez held positions with Optum and Healthesystems, two of the largest PBM’s in the country. Known for his bottom-up approach, Mr. Ramirez plans to utilize his strong analytical mindset, account management skills and revenue-generating background to work in conjunction with internal/external clients and vendors to increase utilization and revenue.
Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and resides in Tampa with his wife and three children. He is active in CrossFit and is a lead men’s mentor for a multi-campus church.
Romy Downard is the Account Executive for ProCare Transportation and Language Services. She began her tenure at ProCare in 2007 and was the sixth team member added to the ProCare family and was instrumental in developing ProCare’s initial processes and protocols. During her tenure, Ms. Downard continued to improve and implement several enhancements to our systems allowing us to grow efficiently and provide excellent outcomes for our clients. Ms. Downard was also actively involved in helping to navigate ProCare’s seamless acquisition and integration of Access On Time.
In her role as Account Executive, Ms. Downard will be providing additional day-to-day support and assisting with analytics and further system enhancements to better support clients and elevate ProCare’s status as a preferred transportation and language services provider.
Ms. Downard has an associate degree in liberal arts and lives in the Tampa Bay area with her family. Her philanthropic endeavors include working with organizations that support Veteran causes and working with Costumers with a Cause, a non-profit that engages in local activities for children going through cancer treatments or who have been diagnosed with a terminal disease. Ms. Downard makes appearances in a Snow White costume at area hospitals, children’s homes, and birthday parties.
Dwain Johnson is the Vice President of Regional Sales at ProCare Transportation and Language Services and brings to his position nearly two decades of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry. Mr. Johnson joined the ProCare Sales Team in 2013 as a Regional Sales Representative and was promoted to his current position in 2016. In addition to maintaining client accounts in the Western Region, he is responsible for client development on a national level.
Prior to working for ProCare, Mr. Johnson was a Customer Service professional at a computer products company. His friendly and gregarious personality led him to an offer to become an inside sales representative. In 1993, he expanded his experience to include outside sales working for an IT staffing company that worked with various fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Johnson attended Cal State University in Sacramento and lives with his wife in Concord, CA. As empty nesters, they look forward to spending time with their two daughters, both of whom attended San Diego State University.
Mr. Johnson enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for playing golf. He feels at home in social situations and thoroughly enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with his peers and external clients.
Erik Johnson is the Senior Director of Technology, Chief Information Officer at ProCare. Mr. Johnson brings nearly three decades of leadership in information systems and technology. He began his career at ProCare in 2020 after ProCare acquired AccessOnTime. Mr. Johnson is responsible for technology vision, leadership and compliance, developing information systems to support business operations and customer relationships.
Mr. Johnson holds a BBA in Banking and Financial Economics from the University of North Dakota. His business career spans manufacturing, healthcare, banking, and high technology sectors where he has consistently advanced business goals by implementing secure and compliant technologies that streamline processes and drive revenue growth.
Prior to joining ProCare, Mr. Johnson was the Senior Director of Technology and CIO for AccessOnTime and has also held senior positions in information technology serving in roles dedicated to national security. Bringing his business, technology and security experience to ProCare, Mr. Johnson’s goal is modernizing the transportation and language services business while maintaining the core values that make the company successful with its customers.
Mr. Johnson lives in the Orlando area with his wife and two children. He enjoys working outdoors, exercising, traveling and spending time with his family. He is active in his church and supports UNICEF in its work to help save children’s lives.
Lisa Addy is the Vice President of Human Resources at ProCare, Inc. She began working at ProCare in 2011. Ms. Addy has gained extensive experience in the Human Resources profession for over two decades. As ProCare’s Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Addy is in the unique position of directly affecting every person and department within the organization. She is passionate about ensuring the safety, growth, development and positive corporate culture for every ProCare department and team member.
Prior to ProCare, Ms. Addy worked for various corporations, honing her skills in relationship building, both personally and professionally. In her current role, Ms. Addy strives to be accessible, approachable and knowledgeable regarding HR issues and serves as a valuable resource that can be trusted to advise and assist in all matters related to the organization and team members.
Ms. Addy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of South Florida. She is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Human Relations program Skills for Success and has served as a Dale Carnegie Graduate Coach.
Raised in New England, Ms. Addy relocated to the Tampa Bay area as a teenager when her parents retired. She is very active in her church and volunteers her time providing hot meals to the Bay area’s homeless and hungry. Ms. Addy also sponsors a child in Barabanki, India through an organization called World Vision.
Dana Petersen is the Director of Operations at ProCare, Inc and brings over six years of experience in the Transportation and Language Services industry. Ms. Petersen began her career at ProCare in 2010 and has served the majority of her tenure in a leadership capacity. Prior to becoming the Operations Manager, she held the position of Operations Supervisor.
Prior to her employment at ProCare, Ms. Petersen worked as a Sales Representative in the Insurance industry. Her first-hand knowledge of the Insurance industry has been beneficial in helping to identify resources that allow call center staff to fully embrace and work towards fulfilling ProCare’s vision and mission. In her role as Director of Operations, Ms. Petersen will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the call center staff, tracking and measuring staff performance and ensuring that all departmental goals are clearly defined and achieved.
Ms. Petersen is in a unique position of directly impacting the performance and development of call center associates and the quality of customer service. It is her goal to provide all staff with training that will, not only help develop them into strong, capable leaders, but will set them on a course for success that will last a lifetime.
Ms. Petersen earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration. She was born in Texas and raised in Venezuela. She moved to the Tampa area at 17 and decided to make this area her home. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her friends, family and animals. She passionately supports the ASPCA and shares a forever home with her partner of 11 years, their four dogs and a hedgehog.
Maritsa Sanchez is the Operations Manager at ProCare, Inc. Ms. Sanchez began working for ProCare in 2016 in the Care department before transitioning over to Service as a Senior Representative. Shortly after the acquisition of AccessOnTime, Ms. Sanchez accepted her new role as the Operations Manager for our Lake Mary location.
Prior to her employment at ProCare, Ms. Sanchez worked at Manheim Auto Auction in online sales. Manheim Auto Auction is recognized as a leading provider of vehicle remarketing services, connecting buyers and sellers to the largest wholesale used vehicle marketplace and most extensive auction network. While in Pennsylvania, Ms. Sanchez managed the PA Association of Latino Organizations and worked with the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Latino Affairs providing support to minority communities through educational and mental health initiatives.
In Ms. Sanchez’s role as Operations Manager, she is in a position of directly impacting the performance of call center associates and the quality of customer service. She believes that teamwork has been a contributing factor to her success and strives to be a source of inspiration for her peers to come together and push through — even in the face of adversity.
Ms. Sanchez holds an Associates in Business Administration. During her free time, she enjoys art, black and white photography, reading books and spending time with her friends and family. Her passion is hiking and climbing.
Stephanie Franklin is the Director-Support Services for ProCare Transportation and Language Services. She oversees the development and management of a diverse and robust network of transportation providers and interpreters who provide services on behalf of ProCare for worker’s compensation claimants. She also oversees ProCare’s finance department.
She began working for ProCare in September 2009, and since then, has been instrumental in increasing the size of ProCare’s provider network, driving effective communication and service issue resolution for clients, and helping to improve internal and external quality.
A native of Florida, Ms. Franklin attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, majoring in Communications with a minor in Journalism. Prior to working for ProCare, Ms. Franklin was an Associate Managing Editor for a community-based weekly newspaper company with editions spanning 19 communities along the east coast of Florida.
In addition to managing ProCare’s Provider Relations, Quality Assurance and Finance teams, Ms. Franklin also works as a freelance editor. When she’s not dotting an independent author’s “i’s” and crossing their “t’s,” Ms. Franklin enjoys reading, writing poetry, watching foreign films and kung fu movies, attending music and cultural festivals, and going to the beach.
She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and is active in both her local church in Tampa and her hometown church in Fort Pierce.
Angela Ujvary is the Director of Special Projects for ProCare Transportation and Language Services. She began her tenure at ProCare in 2023 and is responsible for the leadership and development of the Special Projects and Development teams. She will work closely with the Leadership team to prioritize development efforts and take our internal software to the next level, creating efficiencies that will benefit all departments within the organization.
Through the years, Ms. Ujvary has gained experience in a variety of industries including finance, manufacturing, software development, higher education, and pharmaceuticals. She has a very diverse portfolio and possesses an adaptable background, spending most of her career analyzing and improving organizational processes.
Ms. Ujvary has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Management from Colorado Technical University. She earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, her Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ, her Certificate in Executive Leadership and Management from Notre Dame University and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for several universities to help bring their leadership programs online. In addition, she teaches Project Management to professionals seeking their PMP certification.
Ms. Ujvary currently resides in New Port Richey with her husband. Together, they have four children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and spending time at the beach.
Veronique Roman is the Special Projects Manager at ProCare, Inc. Ms. Roman has been involved with ProCare since its inception in 2007 and contributes over two decades of experience in the workers’ compensation industry. Ms. Roman is a Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and is responsible for overseeing Process and IT Implementation and Development, as well as, Quality Improvement.
Prior to her employment at ProCare, Ms. Roman worked with various Workers ’ Compensation based companies. Ms. Roman is known for her inquisitiveness, focus, resolve and desire to know how things work. Her enthusiasm for learning and improving systems is just one of the reasons she excels in her position at ProCare, where she is responsible for the development of processes that allows customer service reps to focus on delivering quality customer service.
Raised in a military family, Ms. Roman became fond of traveling and seeing new places. Prior to moving to Florida, she spent the majority of her childhood in Germany. Ms. Roman is an avid reader and loves animals. She is passionate about supporting the ASPCA and other charitable organizations that focus on helping animals in need.
Kristie Miller is the Manager of Training and Development at ProCare, Inc. She began working at ProCare in 2010 and brings over 15 years of industry experience to her position. Ms. Miller is responsible for the design and development of training curriculums and professional skills enhancements that provide customer service staff with confidence upon graduation and continued growth opportunities.
Prior to working at ProCare, Ms. Miller held positions at TechHealth, Captial One and Progressive Auto Insurance. Ms. Miller earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and has a proven track record of developing and implementing intensive training materials and program structures that stimulate class participation and are designed to enhance the overall learning experience.
Ms. Miller is from the Tampa area and is an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. She enjoys tending to her garden, traveling and exploring different cultures. She frequently attends outdoor festivals/fairs and enjoys the symphony and community theater. For three years, Ms. Miller served as a member of the Mostly Pops Orchestra as a Violinist and taught private instruction for both Violin and Viola.
Ms. Miller is devoted to helping the less fortunate through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Girls and Boys Club. She is an animal lover and has been instrumental in rehabilitating green iguanas for the past 20 years.
Jay Salmon is the Controller at ProCare, Inc. Mr. Salmon began his career at ProCare in 2015 and contributes over two decades of experience in the financial industry. In his current role, Mr. Salmon is responsible for managing all aspects of accounting/financial operations, including the timely and accurate production of internal and external financial reports, managing cash flow while minimizing debt and ensuring that the agency is in compliance with GAAP accounting principles and standards.
Mr. Salmon is passionate about finding ways to help organizations grow financially while being fiscally responsible. Prior to his employment at ProCare, Mr. Salmon worked at TechHealth, Inc for 13 years as a Controller where he was an integral part of increasing revenue by $98 Million and reducing expenses by encouraging the organization to embrace paperless processing.
Mr. Salmon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University. He is an active member of Finance Plus, Accounting and Finance Professionals (AAFP), Accounting and Audit and Financial Systems News for CFO’s, FD and Controllers.
Originally from Connecticut, Mr. Salmon relocated to the Tampa area to escape the cold weather. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and attending concerts and shows. Mr. Salmon is passionate about helping causes that are devoted to finding cures for sick children and is an avid supporter of St. Jude Chidren’s Research Hospital.
Paula Harebin is the Finance Manager at ProCare. Ms. Harebin began her tenure at ProCare in May, 2017 and brings over four years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry. In her role, Ms. Harebin is responsible for overseeing all company financial activities and building financial strategies that improve the organizations financial health. Her other duties include preparing financial/activity reports, the timely collection of outstanding invoices, ensuring Providers are paid in a timely fashion and brainstorming methods of maintaining or reducing company costs.
Prior to working at ProCare, Ms. Harebin worked at Coram, Inc, a leading provider of home infusion and tube feeding therapy and NuAir, a Tampa based window and door company with over 50 years of experience engineering products designed to withstand the full force of Florida’s tropical environment.
In 2002, Ms. Harebin and her son moved from London to Tampa, FL to be closer to her family. She holds a diploma in Computer Science from Middlesex London.
Ms. Harebin enjoys cooking and watching old movies and is devoted to helping feed the hungry through several outreach programs and food pantries.
